Delmos Wade – Long Beach, CA.
This southern California soul slinger has been creating and performing his original works for the world since age 10. Drawing his influence form producers like DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Dilla, Delmos was introduced into the funk and soul world when he realized that it is where those producers were sampling from. This era captivated Delmos and sent him into the studio in search of his own sound using the brilliant songs from the crates as his teacher. “Stevie continues to teach me how to play the piano and sing from the heart, Curtis reminds me to keep it raw, Marvin challenged me to make it relevant, while James still sets the bar for what a showman has to be”. Jan.2010 marks the date of Delmos Wade’s first full length LP release. Joining forces with DJ Greyboy to co-produce the music and release it on his new label SOUNDLoCK Recordings. DJ Greyboy has put his funk foot forward with his reputation of nothing less than top quality music for more than a decade in the industry.

Alright man, I’m about 3/4 thru “From the Ground Up” and I am totally feelin this. Very groovey n soulful. So chill to listen to, but not boring. You got it man! Def can hear your experience in this track. Man, if DJ Greyboy is out sick and you need some drums for a jam sesh, give me a buzz. Relistening “From the… Ground Up” it was so good. Once I listen to other tracks, I’ll give some more feeback. peace
