Hey everybody! It’s Jud Nester aka Delmos Wade …the purveyor of this fine Blog here!
I just started this new site www.drumnest.com
I realize I don’t have a personal relationship with most of my blogg visitors, so I want to give you some of the back story so you can get to know what I’m, and my new project Drum Nest, is all about……
My Name is Jud Nester and I have been involved, engulfed and active in music and the music biz since I was 10 years old (26 years…damn time flies.. haha)! A majority of my time has been spent in the studio engaged in the creative process and I have enough dues payed in the lab to earn the title Producer. Hip Hop music was my genre specific starting point and through the years I have grown and matured into every musical genre and style and have developed a wide spreading taste as well as an immense passion for all music and it’s creators! Coming from a hip hop background, I have always took great pride in my Drums and Drum Sounds, I always believed the drums drive the song, whether it’s their style that grabs your attention or the sonic punch they can deliver when done right, they are always a vastly potent ingredient to any song. I’ve been collecting every great drum sound I could get my hands on for the last 2 decades and I have used my sound schooling and experienced ear to engineer, stack and process each one to get them sonically “Big and Bad Ass”….. Now I am compiling these sounds into compilations for other producers and musicians to have access to! I’m not stopping with just my own drum sounds either, I have started to reach out to other Producers and Musicians, that I think are amazing, to wrangle up some great drums from them as well! Already I have some real real exciting sounds pouring in from excessively talented individuals! As I get these sounds compiled into compilations I will release them on www.drumnest.com for everyone. My personal sounds are cataloged under the Drum Nest name (Drum Nest vo1 [140 sounds] and Drum Nest snack pack [20 sounds]), everyone else that I’m getting sounds from will be presented like a record with their name and rep on them! Special thank you to my great friend and musical collaborator Andreas Greyboy Stevens (Dj Greyboy) for being my first contributor with Greyboy’s MVD (Most Valuable Drums) . Grey is a super solid producer with numerous years of success in the game and he blessed Drum Nest with some gems from his stacks of Drum Sounds (available now). I hope you all go check it out and help it grow with me and to all my Producers and Beat Makers jump on in and get involved! It would be greatly appreciated if anyone and everyone would tell their friends and fam that make music about this and “share” http://www.drumnest.com with your FB peeps to help spread the word and make this something special ! Hope everyone is having a great day and I’ll be postin’ up all the progress here …..enjoy! and thank you.
Sincerely
-Jud Nester

Channel Five’s The Gadget Show presenters Suzi Perry and Jason Bradbury were each asked to create a wearable gadget of the future.
With some ideas in mind they turned to product design and innovation consultants Smallfry to help make their ideas a reality.
Suzi Perry opted to develop a pair of futuristic MP3 shoes to house the electronics within the soles of the high-heeled shoes.
